The 2009 PMTA/MTNA competitions will take place on Saturday, November 7 at Slippery Rock University.  All competitions will take place in the music building. All levels of piano competitions will begin early in the morning so that they may be completed in time for the winners’ recital which generally takes place at 4pm.  Other instrumental and vocal categories may begin later in the day.  Winners are expected to participate in the recital.

All entrants MUST check-in at the registration table in the main lobby of the Music Building prior to their audition.  The registration table will be open by 5 pm on Friday, November 6.  Rehearsal time in the competition rooms on Friday evening will be assigned to each entrant.

Entrants will receive an email with their assigned Entrant ID # as soon as possible after the application deadline.  At that time competition rooms, rehearsal times and audition times will be listed by level/category and entrant ID # under For Entrants/Parents/Teachers.
