The Indiana University of Pennsylvania Summer Music Camp is open to rising seventh-grade students through high school seniors. Camp runs from June 12-16 with an optional check-in for residential campers on June 11. We have lessons and ensembles for students on all band and orchestra instruments, voice, and piano. Our piano faculty teacher is Dr. Evan Engelstad.
Students will have ensemble experiences, group repertoire class, private practice time, and will receive two private lessons during camp. They will also have an opportunity to perform in the final camp concert. In addition to performing, there will be elective offerings for technology, composition, leadership, conducting, vocal jazz, and more.
The IUP Summer Music Camp has residential and commuter options. Residential campers will be housed in private semi-suites (two people, two private bedrooms, shared kitchenette and bathroom in each suite).
